
Level Crossing Records is bringing Block Party vibes to South West London
As part of Record Store Day 2026
- The store will host its own ‘LCR (Level Crossing Records DJs) Soundsystem’ to create East Sheen’s first ever Block Party, especially for Record Store Day
- Level Crossing Records will be partnering again with The Bull’s Head to put on an evening of live music with French Dogs, Iona Luke and Long Distance Runner
- Le Swine will be serving ‘Britain's Best Bacon Butty’ at the store to hungry music fans from 8.00am and free coffee will be served to people in the queue
Level Crossing Records (LCR) is creating East Sheen’s first ever Block Party as part of a day of music to celebrate Record Store Day 2026 with artists including: French Dogs, Iona Luke and Long Distance Runner.
The music starts in store on Saturday, 18th April with the ‘LCR (Level Crossing Records DJs) Soundsystem’ from 12.00pm and the party continues into the evening at The Bull's Head in Barnes from 7pm.
The Bull's Head in Barnes is one of the first and most important jazz venues in Britain. Known as the "suburban Ronnie Scott's", The Bull's Head event begins at 7.00pm and continues until late, with £12 tickets available from the Bull’s Head website
LCR will be opening its doors from 8.00am, giving away free coffees to music fans in the queue. There will be refreshments available throughout the day and 50% off all previous Record Store Day releases. LCR has also partnered with Le Swine for another year to serve up its renowned bacon butties, loved by GQ, TimeOut and the Evening Standard, in the store.

Whole day of music!
We have DJ's and Live Music throughout the day. The DJ's are people of all ages (our youngest this time is 9) who are customers or come along to our open decks night's (called The Joy of Decks). We've got 2 local bands playing too, Where's Mabel who played recently at our Under 18's Open Mic Night, and Slight Return.
Northampton Garden Fair with Dj's
DJs and bar instore at Vinyl Underground from 1100-1700. We are also running an RSD record fair (no RSD releases available there) with DJs at the Black Prince, 15 Abington Square, Northampton NN1 4AE from 1030-2230. DJs set to include Adam Gow, Adapta, Aidy West, D'Arcy, Desy P, Jon Cartwright, Mark Ski, Micky Hack, Mzbevlar, Swong, Tom Blunt
